As work has progressed, the Association and the contractor have carefully evaluated the project schedule and determined that it is in the Association’s best interest to complete the project in one continuous construction phase, rather than temporarily reopening the pool between phases. Accordingly, the contractor will continue with the necessary concrete repairs, drainage improvements, and preparation work. Once these items have been completed and weather conditions permit, the contractor will proceed directly with the installation of the decorative cementitious finish, texture, color, and protective sealer without reopening the pool in between phases.

Based on the contractor’s current schedule, the Association anticipates reopening the pool and pool deck before Labor Day weekend, weather permitting. Please note that, as with any exterior construction project, the schedule remains subject to weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances beyond the contractor’s control.

Exterior Recreation Area Remains Closed!

As previously announced, and for the safety of all residents and to allow the contractor to perform the work efficiently, the entire exterior recreation area surrounding the clubhouse will remain closed and off-limits throughout the duration of the project. This includes, but is not limited to:

• The swimming pool
• The entire pool deck
• The barbecue/grilling area
• All lounge and seating areas
• Any walkways or exterior areas surrounding the clubhouse that are within the contractor’s work zone

The Association appreciates your continued patience, understanding, and cooperation as these improvements are completed. Although this revised schedule extends the current closure, it eliminates the inconvenience of reopening the pool for a brief period only to close it again shortly thereafter. Completing the project in one continuous phase will allow residents to enjoy a fully completed, more attractive, safer, and more durable pool deck once the work is finished.
